RJT#6592 -

Description

One of the better made of all the early 19th Century Pocket pistols were the Forehand & Wadsworth. The vast majority of production were the .22's, .32's, and some .38's calibers, the smallest quantity being the .41’s, and are seldom found. This .32 has a 3-1/2 inches barrel length most are shorter and for the collector, this one is desirable. Of the 19th century Pocket Pistols, none had a more colorful name than Forehand & Wadsworth. It also demonstrates a quality  far above its many deadly counterparts.
This example, Serial No.1213 exudes character. It has an ORIGINAL FACTORY BLUE, finish. The ORIGINAL rosewood grips are near perfect. The mechanical features ALL operate perfectly for loading, cocking, and firing.
ALL factory applied markings are clear and strong, though the print is so tinny it does require strong magnification. You will find it on top of the barrel.   A Pocket Pistol, in a scarce barrel length.
