Description

Belgium ONE OF A KIND PROTOTYPE REVOLVER.  Looks superb and functions great.  This is the most unusual BIG BORE Bulldog revolver I have ever offered. Very clean throughout.  With 2 sets of grips, one set made by my master grip artisan, in bone with a hash mark pattern, the other set was crafted by the gunsmith/inventor that designed this unusual gun. They were superbly fitted from a pair of Smith & Wesson DA Frontier grips. Action of this Belgium revolver is tight and timing is like new. Cylinder has ELG liege proofmark, with no other markings at all. The caliber is a center fire .45, but what .45 ? CLICK TO SEE more details on this cartridge. The barrel is 3-1/4” with 35% nickel finish remaining. This gun is in excellent mechanical condition showing a very crisp action, with shinny bright as NEW bore with stong rifling. Now to the the two really outstanding features of this revolver. First the loading and ejecting system. This is accomplished  by lowering the lever under the barrel. Then pushing the lever to the left causing the cylinder to swing out to the right, then the lever is brought forward to engage the cylinder pin and with a push the spent cartridges are ejected. Then you reload and reverse the process. The second feature is this revolver was designed to be a knuckleduster / skull crusher. Note the grooves in the under-lever.
