z Sold Flintlock belly gun

Before there was Porter Rockwell, Before there was a belly gun , before there was a boot pistol, before there was a Lincoln Derringer there were those that wish to conceal the fact that they were packing and the belly gun was born. In this case it was cut down from a larger flint lock pistol.  So here is the result of our cut down. This Iron flint lock with brass trigger guard and side plate with hardwood stock, is good sparker in .45 caliber and has been shorted to 10 1/2 inches overall from 16 inches. The barrel is 5 inches. Once the single shot is fire this pistol is still a weapon. The heavy solid brass nose cap serves as a deadly cudgel.
