This is a very nice example of the S&W .32 caliber Model 1-1/2 Single Action Revolver. Standard 3 1/2" barrel with five-shot cylinder, bright nickle finish. It indexes well and locks up tight in battery. The grips have been replaced with a very nice set of ivory colored bone . The .32 caliber Model 1-1/2 SA was produced from 1878-1892 with a total production of just over 97,000. The serial number is 91505. It was mf'd during the 1870's, but an exact date can be obtained by ordering a factory research letter from Smith and Wesson. Barrel has numerous patent dates ranging from 1865-1871. See photo.
The screws and pins are very good. 100% all matching numbers throughout, cylinder, barrel, barrel latch, and frame. . Bore is bright and shinny with sharp rifling. Barrel latch is tight.
