z Sold Very Rare Very Nice Replica Arms Remington .357/.38 spec.

This excellent copy of the 1875 Remington, imported by Replica Arms Marietta, Ohio was manufactured by Uberti. It is an early model serial number 00351, manufactured in 1972  (see DATE CODE [XX8] on the right side of the frame.)
chambered for .357/.38 spec. To hold the cylinder pin, these early models had a set screw to hold the pin. Later Uberti replaced it with the Colt style side to side base pin on the frame which was never authentic to the Original Remington. This one is in excellent mechanical condition, and is in mint as to finish, bore and grips. To further improve the authenticity the brass trigger guard was removed and replaced with a steel and blued trigger guard as were found on the original 1875 Remington. To further enhance the authenticity of this beautiful firearm a set of River Junction Jigged bone grips have been custom made for the arm.
