This rig is designed to have the strap across the chest.
In the past we have made it with an X back design with no chest strap. We would get complaints that the rig flopped around!! And yes it did.!!
The solution is to wear a vest. Put the rig on, then put the vest on, then poked the holster trough the arm hole, then button the vest, then put your coat on.
