Uber was a Company out of Owatonna Minnisota, started in the early 1900s, that took in hides from hunters and would process, tan and return the hide to the hunters as finished product. Whether it was gloves, jackets or a finished tanned hide, they were one the only companies in the USA that would do this. Uber has recently returned as Century Leather Products and still takes on Hides from the Hunting community locally and nationally.
Here we offer a Vintage piece from Uber, the "Scout" Jacket. They still offer this exact same jacket today. (The Scout Jacket at $511.00, of course that is in addition to the 4 hides you would have to supply.) Here you can have the same jacket for much less. With fringe along the front, back, sleeves and pockets , this Jacket has a REAL VINTAGE STYLING. Because it IS REAL VINTAGE. You could display it with you hunting gun collection or on the highway to Sturges S. D.!!!
The front has a zipper closure and the pockets also are zipper closures.
The front zipper pull is marked Coats & Clark.
The Jacket is fully Lined with a Tan Satin.
Finished Garment Measurement in the chest is 49 inches, about a size 44.
