This is an antique engraved Belgian Webley type revolver. It is a pre-1893 ANTIQUE as proven by the Belgian Liege proofmark on the cylinder, and can be shipped directly to you. It is chambered for the .455 elegy which, can be purchased factory loaded in antique pressures from Fiocchi or reloaded with shortened brass. The Isometric and Scrollwork engraving and cast hard rubber grips make this an elegant pistol, likely created for a private client while embracing the military appeal of the Royal Irish Constabulary style. Which was a popular and trusted revolver from the late 1860s through to the start of the 20th century. The finish is a dark blue, the majorly showing little wear or abuse of any kind. The mechanics are perfectly functional, with reliable indexing and single/double action operation and it cycles  to firing position. The rifling of the 5 1/2” barrel is bright and shinny as new.
