Description

American Indian buckskin Beaded Gauntlet Gloves.  The gauntlet beading was done by stitching and sewing down one bead at a time, a task that takes a lot of tedious work to complete, a sign of the best in craftsmanship. They are soft and well taken care of, and I can find no beads missing.  There are no rips or tears, and all beads are tight. These are totally wearable and would lend great credibility to any Indian War cavalry trooper or scout or Wild West Showman.   Fits large to extra large man's hands.  Gloves like these for a big man are hard to find. Circa late 1890s to 1940s Wild West Show era, with fringe with floral bead pattern. Beading covers the entire gauntlet area. They measure 16" long. These gauntlet gloves are in excellent condition and have had very little wear. They would be the Piece de Resistance to any Buffalo Bill or Wild West show outfit.  Ready to wear and will give a century of wear and service, these gloves are befitting of the STAR of the show. Will fit size L -XL. The best of Old West Collectibles.
