Colt 1848 3rd Model Dragoon .44 Cal

This Third Model Colt Dragoon in .44 black powder revolver was manufactured in 1977. This Dragoon has a 7 1/2 inch barrel with a blade front sight and notched hammer for the rear sight. also has two flip up sights at rear of the barrel. (These are especially nice for fine tuning your sign picture.) The cylinder is fully engraved with scenes of men on horse back. Over all the finish has a smooth gray patina, which gives the appearance of an old original dragoon. The action functions as it should. Included is a very nice dove tailed and velvet lined maple wood case and a well patina powder flask which pairs well with the Dragoon.
