Frank James bandoleer Holster for the 1860 Army

Of all the original antique holsters that have past through my hand I would say this is by far the most rare!! Some gunmen may call this a shoulder holster but it is not. I would think it would more approperaity be called a bandoleer holster. As you can see by the photos this rig can be worn on the right  hip or left hip. In my case because I am left handed it can be worn as a cross-draw on my right hip. and a straight draw on my left hip. In the case of a right handed gunman  the reveres would be true.
