Vintage Spy Glass or Telescope

RJT#7497 -

$249.95

Vintage 1800s Telescope/Spyglass. The telescope measures 23 3/4 inches fully extended; it is 81/4 inches closed and the barrel circumference is 5 1/4 inches. The telescopes barrel is wrapped in leather and was once hand-sewn together, but is now loose. Otherwise it is in good condition with some signs of wear due to its age.

This telescope has the brass sliding eyepiece that is used for the eye lens cover. It is in good working order, moves freely. There are no chips, cracks or scratches in either part of the lens. There are no dents in the barrel or the tubing's of the telescope.

This telescope is from the 19th century. It appears to be in good condition for its age, it does open and close smoothly. Perfect for a spotting scope. I can easily count the stripes on an 3 ft. X 5ft. American Flag at 1/4 mile away.
