These Antique Stag Grips fit my 1st Gen., 2nd Gen. Colts and U.S. Patent Firearms PERFECTLY. I found them at an estate sale many years ago.
They are GENUINE SAMBAR STAG-HORN.  If you grew up watching Western movies and TV then you saw stags stocks on the Colt Single Actions of Roy Rogers to Matt Dillon, and Wild Bill Elliot among others. This very durable material has become extremely rare in pasts years. These are the two piece style. You won't find a stronger stock than stag-horn. These Grips are cut to fit your hand. This pair of grips come to us from pre 1950.
The colorization is that of age and handling. Other grips you see today have no color or character when compared to what you see here for sale.
