One-of-a-Kind Bone Grips for the Original Remington 1875
The Remington Model 1875 was one of the great six-shooters of the Old West, introduced as Remington's answer to the Colt Single Action Army. Its heavy frame, solid construction, and familiar single-action operation made it a serious working gun for men who spent their days in the saddle, on the trail, or keeping order in frontier towns.
This particular pair is handmade new for an Original Remington 1875, using natural bone with the character that only genuine material can provide. The grips are based on the sort of hand-finished work seen on documented period firearms rather than being molded copies of an antique set.
What makes this new-made pair special is the natural variation in the bone. Each grip is shaped and finished by hand, allowing the grain, color, and markings of the material to remain part of the finished work. The result is a pair with the look and character of traditional Old West grip work, while being newly made for use on an original Remington 1875.
And these are the actual grips pictured—you won't receive a representative pair with different markings. The pair shown is the pair you'll receive.
