Our CATTLEMEN'S DUSTER
is made in our sewing shop of the finest historic fabric available.
This is the type of garment that Jesse and the boys wore when they rode to
Northfield Minnesota. Dusters were worn to keep dust off your clothes.
Made to fit over other coats, and easily conceal your guns. (even a shotgun)
Made of a Cotton Linen blend in a historic oatmeal color that has a good feel.
It is sturdier than 100% Linen but not as heavy as canvas duck.
Duck was not used it the old days.
Cut to 55 inches in length, this duster rests about mid-calf on a man of average height.
We can add a cantle pleat which will also keep dust from getting on the seat of your pants.
(the pleat can be added and shipped same day to the in stock duster)
Five button front, two front pockets, riding split in back.
For men that were traveling long distances by stagecoach or horse back.
Dry clean only. But to my mind they look best with a little travel dust on them.
