Description

EARLY "H.H. HEISER" HOLSTER Few people realize that Herman H. Heiser was an accomplished saddler in the 1860s and moved to Denver in 1874 to open a shop there.  This holster  takes a 6 1/2" or shorter revolver. This is a slim Jim style holster.  A  H. H. Heiser model #427 Right Side Holster in very good condition.  No loose stitching, light scratches, and a nice even rich patina. The special feature of this holster is that it is fully leather lined. A feature not common to most Heisers found. Here I show Colt Model 1898, 6 inch barreled  revolver that  this holster fits perfectly, but probably many others as well.

The Hermann H. Heiser Manufacturing Co. made this beautiful holster from Premium Skirting Leather. This holster is properly marked with the H. H. Heiser Denver Colo. Trademark "Triple "HHH" in Oval and Bar " makers mark, which dates this holster from 1910. You will note it has no safety strap as many Heiser holsters have, giving it the feel and appearance of an early frontier holster.

The leather is fully alive and will provide a century of wear ready to use.
