Description

A very unique bunkhouse made late 1800’s vintage cartridge belt and holster. The cartridge belt is of the classic money belt style, with 43 bullet loops that except .44 Russian, .44 Colt, 38-40 WCF, .44-40 WCF and others. The belt buckle is a heavy clip corner with nickel plate and the edges of the belt have been hand laced together. The leather is soft and flexible with all stitching and lace intact. The holster is every bit as outstanding as the belt. The skirt cut is like nothing I have seen before. Is it just for style or is there some intended functionality? If it is for style it is indeed an eye catcher. The only flaw is that about one inch of stitch at the top of the pouch was pulled out, but I have had that restitched. The pictures show the missing stitches, but they are no longer present on the holster.  The holster is made for a revolver without an ejector rod. It will fit a Colt 1902 of a Smith & Wesson New Model No.3 with a 6 inch barrel or shorter. This outfit was made hell for sought and has stood the test of time on the range. My Colt and cartridges are not included.
