The Clerical Collar has been a long standing symbol of the Clergy or priesthood. It was originally used as part of the "street clothing" that a Priest/Minister would wear when out in public. 

Our Cathedral Collar is a Parson Brand reinforced interlined acetate cleanable collar made by C.E. Buckley Inc. This is comfortable light weight. The company has gone out of business and we bought their remaining stock.
