Hand crafted from one of Natures finest materials, and made for the Colt MODEL 1892 These "Stag" Elk Horn grips have some bark left on for a nice hand made look. They come as two Piece grips made to fit the Colt 1892 Revolver.
Here is a chance to have a set of highly decorative “BARK ON” natural Elk Horn grips that look and feel just like the old ones, with all the grain and character of mother natures material. These grips are made of natural horn, some may have crack lines, but are completely stable.
You will delight in that NO two grips will have exactly the same color or bark and pattern. They are intended to give your Colt a vintage look. On the inside of the grip is a locator pin hole, it is positioned to match up with your Colt pin, but many need to be enlarged or moved slightly to fit on your particular Colt 1892.
NOTE: For best fit we prefer to have your revolver.
If you are not comfortable with that, we can work from your original grips, back strap and trigger guard.
