A Chance to Make a Deal

Most of the things in this collection aren't items you'll find sitting on a shelf at the local Western store. We put this selection together for the collector, re-enactor, history buff, and the fellow who simply knows a good old piece when he sees one.

Many are one-of-a-kind antiques, collectibles, original Old West items, and unusual pieces from the River Junction collection. Some have a story behind them, some are useful, some are meant for display, and a few are simply things we thought were too interesting to pass up.

That's where Make an Offer comes in.

If you see something you'd like but aren't quite ready to pay the listed price, make us an offer. Go to the individual item, click the Make an Offer button, and tell us what you have in mind. We'll take a look and get back to you, usually within 12 hours.

We may accept your offer, send you a counteroffer, or let you know that we need to stay with the listed price. There's no harm in asking, and sometimes that's how a good deal gets done.

The selection changes regularly, so if something catches your eye, don't count on seeing it here next week. As Jim likes to say, when there's only one, there really is only one.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I make an offer on an item?
Open the individual product listing and click the Make an Offer button. Fill out the offer form with the price you'd like to pay, and we'll review it and respond.

How long does it take to hear back?
River Junction generally responds to offers within 12 hours. If you don't receive a response, give us a call and we'll be happy to check on it.

What happens if you accept my offer?
You'll receive an email with a link to the item showing your offered price. You can then place the item in your cart at that price.

What if my offer isn't accepted?
We may decline the offer or send you a counteroffer with a different price. A counteroffer gives you another chance to decide whether you'd like to make the purchase.

Can I make an offer by phone?
Yes. If you'd rather talk to a real person about an item or its price, you can call Jim at 563-880-4588.

Are the items in this section all antiques?
No. The Make an Offer collection changes and includes antiques, collectibles, original Western items, vintage goods, and other unusual pieces. Read the individual listing carefully for the item's age, condition, and history.

Why does this collection change so often?
A good part of the fun is that we're always finding interesting things. Many items are one-of-a-kind, so once one sells, it may not be replaced with another like it.
