We were able to find this handsome traditional red and black plaid coat weight wool for this Mackinaw. It features a black Wool lining and all the comforts of our Blanket Mackinaws

This is our most-popular coat design, the Mackinaw is a historic and authentic design from the 19th century. It was worn by all who had to brave the elements in the Wild West, The North Woods, or the Gold Fields of Alaska. Hand-made by River Junction, these coats are made with two layers of quality wool.

This coat features an eight-button front, and four-pockets in the front with leather trim for durability and a clean finish. The shawl collar can be pulled up to cut the wind and rain. This heavy coat makes a perfect shell to keep you out of the elements and toasty warm.
