Badge - Tin shield - Dep. US marshal

George Washington himself, in September of 1789 signed the commissions of 13 able men as Marshals. This group grew into what we seen during the 1800s and beyond.

A great and inexpensive badge, this one is a Deputy Marshal Shield with a star in the middle.  Badge is nickel-plated, pin backed, and 2" in wide by 2 1/2" long, with an antique finish. Again, don't let this price fool you this is a nice badge for the money.
