The 2nd Generation Colt F-Series 1847 Walker (Model F-1600) was produced from June 1980 (in the 1st year of production) through April 1982, with serial numbers generally running from 1,200 to 4,120 (totaling roughly 2,920 units), Will chamber and fire .45 Long Colt, .45 crimped blanks, and 5 in 1 crimped blanks. .45 Schofield factory ammo seems to have to thick of a rim to chamber deep enough.
This COLT is a .44 caliber, 9" barrel, S/N 1308. Blue and case colored finish. Brass trigger guard, iron backstrap with walnut grips. Altered for a movie by removing the back of the cylinder and adding a permanent ring around the back of the cylinder with percussion caps visible for the camera. Excellent condition overall for on screen realism.
