Deputy Santa Fe New Mexico Badge

New Mexico and Santa Fe has had a long and interesting history of changing hands, once being a Spanish Colony, and then belonging to Mexico. In 1848 along with California, the New Mexico territory was ceded to the US.  Santa Fe was even involved in the Civil War.
