"British Bulldog" style pocket revolver, six-shot fluted cylinder .38 caliber Short Colt. On the rear of the cylinder is the standard Belgian proof mark along with a star over a Z. However MOST notable are the (6) obviously cut KILL notches? Makes you wonder? These were manufactured 1872-1890. The Barrel length is 2-1/4", and has strong and deep rifling for close shooting. Single Action and Double Action works perfectly. Fixed front brass sight. Loading is achieved via a gate on right side of frame. Very good condition smooth overall with no pitting.
The blue finish has turn to an even plum brown. For every blued Bulldog, you see 200 nickel plated ones. The Checkered English Walnut grips are in near perfect condition.
