Large Spanish Bowie Knife 18th -19th Century

Extra Large Antique Elk Handled knife
This knife is truly unique, and a very large example.

A 12 inch blade and 17 1/4 inches overall. This is a well-crafted knife with a wide blade, and very heavy duty for combat and utility.
The knife may have been used on ships due the salt rust corrosion on the blade. The handle is made of stag.
The handle has no cracking which demonstrates how loved this Bowie/Cutlass knife was to its original owner.

The blade has no visible markings but a beautiful patina and is in fantastic condition for its age.
