Cowboy Action 38 Long Colt Ammo 158 Grain Flat Nose Box of 50

Finding ammo, let alone good ammo, for a Colt New Army M1892 Revolver can be kind of a trick. You need to turn to a manufacturer reloaders if you want a 38 Long Colt cartridge that’s going to let you do your cowboy shooting in style.

This round is loaded to please a Cowboy Action shooter. Its 158 grain bullet is a classic lead round nose, which issues out of a revolver’s muzzle at a velocity of 650 fps. Such a soft bullet connects well with a steel target in order to topple it, although its nose profile and ability to deform means this wouldn’t be the worst bullet to have working for you during a shootout down at the livery.

This is a consummate operation, one that has earned the patronage of prestigious military and private clients alike. These rounds aren’t totally historically accurate given their smokeless instead of black powder, but everyone around you is going to appreciate not being enveloped in a plume of smoke by your gunshots. This is some what rarer cartridge’s high quality brass casing is a real boon for handloaders.
